The role maintains accurate stock records and ensures the store is clean, organized, and secure.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming goods and materials; verify quantities and items against delivery documents.
- Store materials properly and keep the store organized.
- Issue materials as requested and approved.
- Maintain accurate stock records and records of goods received and issued.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
- Conduct regular stock counting.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
- Prepare goods for delivery or transfer when required.
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and safe.
- Follow company procedures and safety rules; perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge; good counting and record-keeping skills.
- Responsible, hardworking, honest, and reliable, with good organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit to handle store materials when required.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Four years of Store Keeper experience is preferred.
- English and a Qatari driving license are preferred.
