Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• High school or secondary-school certificate is preferred; basic reading, writing, and mathematics are required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Store Helper, Warehouse Helper, Stock Assistant, or similar role.
• Warehouse, foodstuff, FMCG, supermarket, restaurant-supply, or general-trading experience is preferred; UAE warehouse experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of FIFO and FEFO, goods handling, stock counts, proper storage, and expiry-date monitoring.
• Basic English communication and mathematics; good communication and teamwork; able to follow instructions.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move cartons safely; honest, reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• ERP/Warehouse Management Systems, Excel, barcode scanners, food-handling training, and UAE driving licence are additional preferred or advantageous qualifications; the licence is not mandatory for a warehouse-only position.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Storekeeper or Warehouse Supervisor with daily warehouse activities; receive and unload supplier goods and check deliveries against documents.
• Arrange goods in designated storage areas; follow FIFO/FEFO and maintain required storage conditions and expiry-date checks.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks; pick goods for customer or branch orders, then pack, label, and organize them for delivery.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and move goods with trolleys, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized; report damaged, expired, missing, or incorrect products.
• Support transfers between warehouse locations or branches and follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

Important skills and work conditions

• Physical fitness, safe lifting, attention to detail, basic mathematics, and ability to follow instructions.
• Teamwork, communication, time management, punctuality, honesty, and responsibility when handling stock.
• Able to work under pressure and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
• For foodstuff warehouse work, dispatch products with the earliest expiry dates first while maintaining required storage conditions.

Pay

• AED 1,500–2,200 per month.
