Role overview

Work arrangement

Responsibilities

• Assist the Storekeeper or Warehouse Supervisor with daily warehouse activities.
• Receive and unload supplier goods and check deliveries against documents.
• Arrange products in designated storage areas and follow required storage conditions.
• Apply FIFO and FEFO procedures, dispatching products with earlier expiry dates first where appropriate.
• Assist with daily and monthly stock counts and inventory checks.
• Pick and prepare customer or branch orders; pack, label, and organize products for delivery.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely; move goods using trolleys, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Check expiry dates and product condition; report damaged, expired, missing, or incorrect products.
• Support stock transfers between warehouse locations or branches.
• Follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

Qualifications and requirements

• At least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, store, FMCG, foodstuff, or general trading operations.
• Knowledge of FIFO and FEFO procedures and product storage and expiry-date monitoring.
• Experience receiving, arranging, picking, packing, loading, and dispatching goods; ability to assist with stock counts.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move cartons and food products safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, ability to follow instructions, and a responsible, reliable approach.
• Basic English communication and basic mathematics; ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Foodstuff or FMCG experience is highly preferred; UAE warehouse experience is preferred or advantageous.
• ERP/Warehouse Management System experience, Excel, barcode scanners, food safety/handling training, and a UAE driving license are listed as additional advantages; the license is not mandatory for a purely warehouse-based role.
