My London Skin Clinic is seeking an experienced and highly organised Stock Controller to manage the day-to-day control, movement and accuracy of all medical, clinical and general stock across our clinic locations.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working with medical or clinical inventory and understand the importance of accurate stock records, batch tracking, expiry monitoring, correct storage and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all medical, pharmaceutical, consumable and general clinic stock
- Receive deliveries and check quantities, condition, batch numbers and expiry dates
- Record all stock received, transferred, issued, used, returned or disposed of
- Maintain accurate stock levels within the clinic’s inventory management system
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requests when required
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts
- Investigate and report any stock discrepancies, shortages, damage or unexplained usage
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure stock is rotated using the FEFO method
- Ensure temperature-sensitive and controlled items are stored correctly
- Maintain complete documentation for stock movement, wastage and disposal
- Prepare stock for treatment rooms and departments based on approved requests
- Coordinate stock transfers between clinic branches
- Work closely with nurses, doctors, therapists, procurement and management
- Ensure emergency stock and essential medical supplies are always available
- Maintain clean, secure and well-organised stock rooms
- Assist with audits, inspections and compliance requirements
- Produce regular stock usage, variance, expiry and wastage reports
- Prevent unauthorised access to stock rooms and unrecorded stock removal
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical or healthcare stock control
- Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, pharmacy, medical centre or healthcare facility is essential
- Strong understanding of medical consumables, batch numbers, expiry dates and stock rotation
- Experience using inventory or stock management software
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other administrative systems
- Able to work independently and manage multiple stock locations
- Good written and spoken English
- Professional, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
- Available to work full-time in Dubai
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in supply chain, logistics, procurement, pharmacy or healthcare administration
- Previous experience supporting DHA or healthcare facility inspections
- Experience managing stock across multiple clinic branches
- Knowledge of medical device and pharmaceutical storage requirements
