Steel Erection Supervisor

Qualifications

• Completed diploma in mechanical engineering.
• At least five years of structural steel erection or related experience, including supervision of construction teams.
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and structural steel building codes.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate across stakeholders.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Three years of UAE experience is preferred.
• English, Hindi, Tamil, or Malayalam language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the structural steel erection team, supporting project timelines and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on requirements and construction specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for safety, quality, and specification compliance.
• Develop erection plans, work sequencing, and schedules to optimize efficiency.
• Facilitate training and development and promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate on-site equipment, materials, and labor.

Pay

• Pay is stated as AED 4,000–5,000 per month; the role overview also lists AED 4,500–5,000.
