Coatings Application & Durability Testing Technician with hands-on experience in industrial paint application to support the development and validation of advanced coating systems.

The role focuses on practical coating application, process optimization, and durability testing aligned with industrial standards.

· Prepare and apply coatings using various techniques, including spray coating, dip coating, and film casting, ensuring consistency and quality of application.

· Support the development and optimization of functional coatings, including formulation trials and process adjustments.

· Perform durability and performance testing in accordance with relevant ASTM and ISO standards. · Analyse coating performance before and after testing, including evaluation of: Coating thickness, Surface roughness, Gloss and visual appearance, Optical and thermal properties.

· Identify and assess coating degradation mechanisms (e.g., cracking, delamination, wear, discoloration).

· Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and observations in a structured and traceable manner.

· Support data analysis and preparation of technical reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.

· Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.

and experience:

· Technical degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in industrial paint or coating application (mandatory)
