Role Overview
Own the financial execution layer for construction accounts receivable within Intuit's Field-to-Finance operating system.
Transform manual, error-prone construction payment workflows for mid-market contractors.
Responsibilities
- Own the construction AR product from payment-application creation and submission through retainage tracking, lien-waiver collection, and cash application.
- Ship agentic workflows that automate high-stakes steps in the construction payment chain.
- Give contractors real-time visibility into billed, approved, retained, and at-risk amounts.
- Lead discovery through job-site visits and research with general contractors, subcontractors, and owners.
- Define success metrics and own the roadmap across engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
- Partner with accounting firms and ecosystem stakeholders on workflow standards.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant construction-related discipline, or equivalent practical construction project-management, contract-administration, or construction-finance experience.
- Working knowledge of payment applications, retainage, lien waivers, Schedule of Values, and change order management.
- Experience translating construction domain knowledge into software products for contractors, owners, or lenders.
- Fluency in agentic product design with confidence thresholds, escalation logic, and human-in-the-loop decision points.
- Experience building mobile-first frontline-worker products; low-connectivity field-environment experience is ideal.
- Experience with bi-directional integrations and build, buy, and partner decisions.
- Experience building technician-facing mobile products where field data quality affects financial reporting.
Compensation
- Expected annual base pay is $188,500 to $255,000 in Mountain View.
- Expected annual base pay is $186,500 to $252,500 in New York.
- The role is eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits under applicable plans.
