Role overview

Build and scale AI capabilities across GBSG Canada Marketing, working with Product Marketing, Digital Acquisition, Marketing Ops, web, media, and lifecycle marketing teams.

The role combines hands-on AI solution development with enabling teams to adopt and use the solutions.

Intuit describes its work model as hybrid; the role is based in the Toronto office three days per week.

AI development and direction

  • Understand marketing workflows by embedding with teams, then design, build, and ship AI tools and agents suited to their needs.
  • Choose suitable platforms, models, or custom code; set technical direction and make accountable trade-off decisions.
  • Take solutions from prototype through deployment and ongoing support, with the goal of teams operating them independently.
  • Identify new AI opportunities and bring relevant approaches from Intuit and the wider industry.

Adoption and collaboration

  • Demonstrate solutions, present to teams and leaders, and encourage people to use AI tools in their work.
  • Set up repeatable training, office hours, or documentation for marketing teams.
  • Translate engineering standards and technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.

Web development

  • Build and maintain web components and experiences using React and modern front-end tools when needed.
  • Monitor core web vitals, accessibility, and technical SEO.

Qualifications

  • At least six years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on experience shipping AI- or LLM-powered products into production.
  • A track record of making and defending technical trade-offs; strong full-stack or front-end web development experience.
  • Able to operate as a technical expert with little day-to-day oversight and choose tools based on the problem.
  • Strong communicator able to explain technical ideas to nontechnical marketers and earn trust across teams.
  • Experience teaching or enabling people to use tools, or proactively introducing new technical approaches.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and an evolving role scope. Marketing experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Compensation

  • Expected Toronto base pay range is CAD 132,000 to CAD 178,500; the description does not state a pay cadence.
  • The position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits under applicable plans.
