Stadium Merchandising Specialis
t is responsible for the execution of all retail and merchandising activities within stadium premises, ensuring a best-in-class fan shopping experience on matchdays and events.
The role supports sales maximization, operational readiness, visual merchandising standards, and seamless coordination between retail, operations, and event teams.
In addition, the role supports the merchandising function by contributing to product readiness, assortment execution, and the accuracy of product and line information throughout the season
Pre-Match Planning & Setup
- Prepare stadium retail areas including pop-ups/kiosks/booths selling points
- Coordinate product allocation with Retail Manager and Planning team
- Ensure correct assortment by location (family zones, VIP, general stands)
- Validate pricing, signage, and POS readiness
- Support VM implementation aligned with campaigns and match themes
Matchday Operations
- Oversee sales activities across all stadium retail touchpoints
- Ensure continuous stock replenishment and availability
- Manage queues, service flow, and customer experience
- Supervise temporary staff and ensure productivity
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues on-site
- Track real-time sales performance and highlight opportunities
Post-Match & Reporting
- Consolidate sales data and operational feedback
- Identify best-selling products and stock gaps
- Provide recommendations for future matches and assortment improvements
Merchandising Support
- Support merchandising team with product feedback to refine future assortments
- Contribute to line plan accuracy and product data updates
- Support planning and merchandising with insights impacting future buy quantities and OTB decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Management, Sports Management, or related
- 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, stadium/event operations, or store management
- Experience in sports, events, or high-footfall retail environments is highly preferred
- English and Arabic (written and spoken)

- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays
- Product sensitivity
