Commercial Intelligence Senior Specialist

plays a central role in shaping data-driven commercial decisions within the Partnerships department at Al Ahli Club Company.

This role is responsible for translating market data, competitive benchmarks, partner analysis, and internal performance metrics into actionable insights that guide partner targeting, deal sizing, and revenue optimization.

Working closely with the Sales and Client Servicing teams, this individual ensures that every partnership opportunity is grounded in solid research, clear valuation, and measurable outcomes ultimately helping the Club build stronger, smarter, and more profitable commercial relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive market benchmarking both nationally and internationally to establish best-in-class pricing models, sponsorship structures, and partnership standards.
  • Analyze the Club’s partnership asset inventory and map it against market demand and competitor positioning to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Define and prioritize target sectors and potential partners based on opportunity sizing, strategic fit, and revenue potential.
  • Build detailed partner profiles and develop sector-specific value propositions that clearly articulate the Club’s commercial offering.
  • Prepare ROI reports, partnership performance dashboards, and post-campaign analyses to measure the effectiveness and return on each partnership.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support for partner communications, renewal discussions, and upselling strategies.
  • Work in lockstep with the Senior Sales Manager and Sales Manager to ensure pipeline decisions are rooted in data and market intelligence.
  • Monitor industry trends, fan engagement metrics, and macro-economic indicators to continuously refine the Club’s commercial positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in business intelligence, market research, or commercial analytics ideally within sports, entertainment, or media industries.
  • Proven track record of producing actionable insights that directly influenced commercial strategy or deal-making.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and Excel at an advanced level.
  • Previous exposure to partnership or sponsorship environments is highly desirable.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Excellent presentation and report-writing abilities comfortable presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communicator who can bridge the gap between data teams and commercial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance sports environment.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
