SSRS Developer

Role overview

SSRS and SQL Server

• Develop and maintain SSRS reports, dashboards, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Create and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and database objects; tune queries, indexes, and database performance.
• Troubleshoot reporting and database issues.

Full-stack development and delivery

• Build and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop REST and Web APIs, backend services, integrations, and responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Gather business requirements, provide production support, and participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application quality, performance, and reliability.

Required experience and skills

• At least 5 years of hands-on SSRS experience and 3+ years of full-stack .NET development.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, views, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, REST/Web APIs, and the listed front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, SVN, or another source-control system; analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with enterprise applications and large-scale databases.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred skills

• Power BI, SSIS, and/or SSAS; Azure application, data, or reporting services; Blazor, React, or Angular.
• Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORM technologies; IIS administration, deployment, and CI/CD.
• Integration with ERP, PMIS, ECM, or workflow management systems.
