Full-time management position in Lusail, Qatar; the posting states that the role is not remote.
Responsible for group and catering opportunities with significant revenue potential, revenue goals, account growth, and service delivery.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED plus two years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related professional area; alternatively, a two-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with no work experience required.
Sales and revenue responsibilities
- Target group and catering accounts and solicit new business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
- Develop sales plans, handle incoming opportunities, coordinate with group and catering counterparts, and focus on high-potential accounts.
- Design and sell catered events, upsell packages and food and beverage, assess market conditions, negotiate contracts, and close business.
Customer service and relationships
- Manage complex business and build relationships with existing and prospective customers to encourage future bookings.
- Develop community relationships and provide service that builds customer satisfaction, loyalty, and account growth.
- Coordinate with off-property sales channels and manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Additional duties
- Conduct site inspections and prepare proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence.
- Support the operational delivery of booked business and customer satisfaction before and during programs or events.
