TELUS Health is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to deliver testing for its solutions and support quality standards.
The role includes test planning, manual test execution, defect follow-up, change-impact assessment, and peer support.
Responsibilities
- Clarify testing scope with functional leads, business analysts, solution designers, and developers; analyze technical documents for test scenarios.
- Design positive and negative test cases, create manual scripts with expected results and test data, and maintain test suites as functionality changes.
- Prioritize and execute tests, capture results, report defects, and follow up on resolution.
- Report progress to QA leads and flag risks to deadlines or quality; follow established QA standards and procedures.
- Participate in test strategy and planning, assess change impacts, and identify regression tests.
- Suggest solutions and process improvements; peer-review and support other QA resources, provide client support, and train when required.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of QA experience, including two years as a senior QA.
- Strong user and customer perspective, analytical and detail-oriented approach, curiosity, discipline, and creativity.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; ownership, accountability, openness to suggestions, and commitment to quality.
Language requirement
- Intermediate English is required for regular communication with internal and external parties and use of English-language IT tools.
Salary
- Annual salary range is CAD $58,000 to $80,000; final compensation depends on knowledge, skills, performance, and experience.
Work arrangement
- TELUS states that the role may be performed in-office, virtually, or through a combination of both.
