TELUS Digital is hiring a Client Project Manager to manage multiple application development mandates and serve as the primary contact between clients and delivery teams.
The role owns project scope, timeline, budget, and communication from kickoff through final delivery. Experience in media and entertainment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage project lifecycles, client relationships, scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and satisfaction across concurrent projects.
- Lead kickoffs, requirements gathering, discovery, planning, reporting, status meetings, and client reviews.
- Translate requirements into briefs and tasks; coordinate internal delivery teams and resolve integration or delivery blockers.
- Manage changes, risks, budgets, approvals, user acceptance testing, releases, and project documentation.
- Coordinate contract, statement-of-work, and invoicing processes; contribute to proposals, process improvements, and account growth.
Required qualifications
- Strong project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written English and French communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum project management practices.
- Experience delivering objectives and managing change orders and risks.
- Stakeholder negotiation, organization, time management, adaptability, and familiarity with project management software and practices.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as project management, business administration, or engineering, is preferred.
- Project or change management certification is preferred; examples include PMP, Six Sigma, PMI-ACP, AgilePM, CSM, Prosci, CCMP, or PRINCE2.
- Media and entertainment industry experience is preferred.
Compensation
- The description lists a compensation range of CA$90,000 to CA$100,000 but does not state the pay cadence.
