Sr. Solution Architect

Role overview

Leadership and delivery

• Own technical delivery for assigned modules and projects.
• Drive requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Monitor project progress and address risks, blockers, dependencies, milestones, and commitments.
• Plan and allocate development tasks, track team deliverables, and coordinate development, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders.
• Conduct reviews and provide status updates to management and stakeholders.

Architecture and design

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare high-level and low-level architecture documents, technical specifications, and design diagrams.
• Define application architecture, integrations, data flows, system design standards, and technology approaches.
• Ensure adherence to architecture best practices and technology standards.

DevOps and infrastructure

• Design and oversee CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, deployment environments, and application hosting.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery.
• Automate deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning with DevOps teams.
• Implement security practices and monitor system performance, infrastructure health, and operational metrics.
• Drive infrastructure optimization, cost management, and operational excellence.

Technical guidance and governance

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to development teams.
• Review code, designs, and technical solutions for quality and maintainability.
• Guide developers through technical challenges and mentor team members.
• Maintain coding standards, security guidelines, development best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and decision-making.

Required skills and experience

• Three to eight years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in software architecture, application design, and enterprise solution development.
• Proven experience leading development teams and managing end-to-end project delivery.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, integrations, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in effort estimation, sprint planning, task allocation, and project tracking.
• Strong understanding of application security, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, QA, DevOps, and management teams.
• Experience with Azure environments.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Experience with architecture documentation tools and solution design frameworks.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Relevant technical, cloud, DevOps, or architecture certifications are advantageous.

Compensation

• The advertised pay is ₹50,000 to ₹100,000 per month.

Workplace and employment

• The role is full-time and requires in-person work.
