Build and manage interactive websites and applications across back-end, user interface, content management, messaging, and web services.
The role combines web development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript with PHP, MySQL, and day-to-day application management.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern, responsive, high-performance web applications from scratch and optimize pages for SEO.
- Architect reusable systems and documented component libraries; develop responsive mobile and web front ends.
- Guide releases, review code, and delegate tasks to junior team members.
- Identify technical innovations and solutions to system performance and usability issues.
- Lead design and implementation of AI/LLM-powered agentic workflows and intelligent automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
- LAMP stack experience; experience developing eCommerce platforms; strong PHP and MVC framework experience.
- Experience with MySQL or related databases, Apache or NGINX, and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge or experience in performance, caching, SQL query, and SEO optimization.
Preferred experience
- RESTful APIs, SPAs, React, Magento, and CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla are preferred.
- Additional technologies, Agile development, and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Behat, or Selenium are preferred.
Compensation
- Salary range is 140,000–180,000 per year; salary offered depends on location, level, education, training, skills, experience, and internal comparisons.
- Candidates may be eligible for bonus and equity programs, in addition to benefits.
