Project Manager

Role overview

Essential duties

• Lead the full lifecycle of rack-level system deployment projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Define scopes, draft Statements of Work, and calculate project resources and timelines.
• Act as the primary customer contact and manage expectations during deployment.
• Perform on-site hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and service desk ticket handling when needed.
• Independently manage service workflows and respond to technical challenges in data center environments.

Project management qualifications

• At least five years of experience in data center operations, IT service delivery, or technical project management is required.
• Experience leading rack-level system deployment projects is required.
• Experience drafting Statements of Work and coordinating timelines and resources for complex customer projects is required.

Technical qualifications

• Hands-on high-speed and structured cabling experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, GPU systems, and data center networking is required.
• Proficiency with BIOS, UEFI Shell, PXE, DOS, and Linux or Windows server troubleshooting is required.
• On-site rack movement, hardware remediation, rack mounting, power connection, and configuration validation experience is required.

Mobility and physical requirements

• Frequent travel to domestic cities or international locations within a six-hour flight radius is required.
• Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Full professional proficiency in English and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
