Provide specialized technical and engineering support to plant operations and engineers to maintain equipment according to applicable international standards.

Role purpose
Plan, direct, coordinate, accomplish, and monitor major rotating equipment engineering, overhaul, and inspection activities within Mesaieed operations.

Stay current with rotating equipment developments and propose beneficial techniques, equipment, and materials.
Experience and skills
- Good knowledge of international ISO/API standards and rotating equipment engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, and root-cause failure analysis.
- Effective presentation, communication, and technical report-writing skills; ability to work in a team, guide and motivate subordinates, and handle contractors.
- Able to operate Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and SAP; proficient in English.
Education and equipment training
- Bachelor’s university degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Engineering and overhaul/inspection training related to heavy-duty two-shaft gas turbines, centrifugal process gas compressors, expanders, heavy-duty gearboxes, torque convertors, and large cooling water pumps.
