Accountable for performance and results across multiple related disciplines or subgroups, with leadership and direction for managers or professional staff.
Responsibilities
- Apply specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and quality tools for problem-solving and assessment.
- Create inspection reports documenting work-area conditions and whether requirements are met; recommend corrective actions.
- Use quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required project-execution standards.
- Apply performance evaluation and prediction methods to improve product safety, reliability, and maintainability.
- Maintain quality standards for products, procedures, and materials within the work scope.
- Align quality management with product-line performance needs and lead delivery across related disciplines or subgroups.
- Participate in functional strategy development and oversee global processes and procedures where assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree.
- At least 12 years of experience, including at least three years in management.
- Specialized expertise in quality programs, inspection and testing, training, statistical methods, audits, quality tools, and assessment.
- Knowledge of quality systems and performance evaluation or prediction methods for project standards, product safety, reliability, and maintainability.
