Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build a multi-year AI roadmap prioritizing quick-win implementations and shorter client time-to-value.
• Design SAP data workflows and deliver insights through .NET middleware or user interfaces.
• Oversee AI feature rollouts such as automated tracking and predictive delivery.
• Optimize cloud resource consumption in Azure/SAP BTP.
• Align AI goals with logistics, IT, and finance executives and business KPIs.
• Set SAP data governance and cleanliness standards for machine-learning training data.

Qualifications

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP MM, SD, PP, or EWM, plus data extraction experience through SAP HANA or OData services.
• Expertise in C# and .NET Core/6+ for scalable integration layers.
• Experience with ML.NET, TensorFlow, or PyTorch and large language models.
• Ability to lead Lean AI work from proof of concept to production in weeks rather than months.
• At least eight years of experience in logistics, freight, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing seven-figure budgets.
