Sr. Financial Analyst

Job purpose

Financial and commercial analysis

• Track financial performance by channel, product, and customer, including sales, costs, and profitability.
• Support commercial and pricing decisions on pricing, promotions, and sales deductions.
• Develop and evaluate business cases for projects and initiatives.
• Review customer profitability and monitor contractual rebates, CAPEX, and OPEX investments.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, variance, and trend analysis and explain deviations from budget and forecast.
• Analyze product profitability, including volume, rate, mix, cost trends, and macro-environment impacts.

Controls and business support

• Partner with marketing to manage advertising and sales promotion budgets.
• Support financial control processes and compliance with international accounting standards and company guidelines.
• Support order-to-cash activities and monitor customer collections.
• Review manufacturing analyses and variances and initiate actions with process owners.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals for sales incentives, rebates, and promotions; provide ad hoc reports and support.

Qualifications and experience

• Professional qualification or Master's degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
• At least five years of relevant work experience in an international environment.
• Strong, proven knowledge of accounting; Big Four experience is a plus.
• Fluent spoken and written English; Arabic language experience is a plus.

Skills and capabilities

• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, financial modeling, and reporting or financial systems; SAP is preferred.
• Project management, communication across cultures, customer focus, organization, and planning skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities; able to interpret data, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
