SR. ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Role Overview
Provide electrical discipline support to production operations by troubleshooting plant reliability issues and electrical equipment failures.
Carry out basic care activities and scheduled routine preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment under supervisor direction.

Primary purpose
Provide electrical discipline support to production operations by troubleshooting plant reliability issues and electrical equipment failures.
Carry out basic care activities and scheduled routine preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment under supervisor direction.
Maintenance and operations support
- Maintain assigned electrical equipment safely and reliably to achieve targets and minimize impact on plant operations.
- Troubleshoot failures and support production operations.
Experience and education
- At least 10 years of relevant oil and gas or petrochemical industry experience.
- Completion of secondary education followed by a three-year full-time Electrical Diploma or equivalent.
Electrical experience and knowledge
- Installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul experience with transformers, switchgear, motors, motor control centers, and generators.
- Experience with protection relay calibration, lighting, batteries, chargers, inverters, and variable speed drives.
- Working knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules and authorized competency for LV operations.
- Able to read electrical power, single-line, and control schematic drawings.
- Good knowledge of oil and gas or petrochemical industry safety practices.
Language and computer skills
- Good written and spoken English.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office and SAP CMMS.
