SR.AUDITOR, INTERNAL

Role purpose

Audit planning and execution

• Assess risks across functions and prioritize areas for the internal audit plan.
• Execute audits and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls across processes.
• Use qualitative and quantitative analysis and data analytics to identify weaknesses, risks, inefficiencies, and anomalies.
• Lead exit meetings, discuss findings with process owners, and agree management responses and resolution timelines.
• Prepare clear reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses.
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor action-plan implementation and corrective-action effectiveness.
• Keep current on company policies, procedures, operations, and changes affecting audit work.
• Perform ad hoc audits and investigations in response to emerging risks, concerns, or incidents.
• Collaborate with departments to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or a relevant field.
• 4–6 years of work experience.
• Audit best practices, audit planning and reporting, auditing procedures and standards, compliance audits, internal audit controls, post-audit reviews, and security audits are listed as technical or functional competencies.

• Support quality requirements and effective quality-control processes.
• Maintain written systems, policies, and procedures and seek automation opportunities.

• Follow relevant safety, quality, and environmental controls and procedures.
