The Senior Analytics Consultant bridges high-level business strategy and technical execution in a hands-on consulting role.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder engagement to understand business requirements.
- Translate business objectives into actionable analytical roadmaps.
- Establish KPI and business metric definitions, calculation logic, and governance.
- Assess data suitability and quality to ensure foundational data supports key metrics.
- Explore data, analyze features, and profile data using SQL and Python.
- Partner with Power BI developers on wireframes, semantic models, and workflow-aligned dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data consulting, business intelligence, or analytical roles.
- Life insurance domain experience is highly preferred.
- Advanced querying skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and performance profiling.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and exploration libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
- Experience designing metric layouts and guiding Power BI dashboard development.
