Workplace and schedule

  • Hybrid role in Glasgow, with two days in the office stated in the schedule and two to three office days stated elsewhere in the posting.

What the role requires

  • Experience in a SOC or security-monitoring environment and understanding of alerts, incidents and escalation.
  • Knowledge of common attack techniques, threat actors and indicators of compromise.

  • Must be eligible for SC clearance; the posting states five years of continuous UK residence for the minimum residency criteria.

Preferred experience and certifications

  • Practical familiarity with SIEM or tools such as QRadar is preferred.

  • Support incident response, evidence gathering, vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence.
