About This Role

Job Description:

Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi License Required.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans. This role requires excellent communication skills, both with clients and their families, as well as collaboration with other health professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adults.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Provide speech therapy sessions, offering both one-on-one and group therapy as needed.
  • Work with clients on improving articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Keep accurate records of therapy sessions, client progress, and treatment plans.
  • Monitor and adjust therapy plans as necessary to meet client needs and goals.
  • Educate clients and families on techniques and strategies to support progress at home.
  • Stay updated with the latest speech therapy techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or a related field.
  • Valid DOH license for Speech Therapy (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a clinical or pediatric setting.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of speech disorders and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Arabic Speaking.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals.
