Role overview

Team leadership

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the purchasing team; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
• Train the team to improve procurement-process and system skills.

Procurement operations

• Manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order management across the procurement cycle.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and budget requirements; review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Supplier and stakeholder management

• Develop supplier and vendor relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and conduct periodic reviews.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
• Coordinate with finance, operations, logistics, and inventory teams; support project teams with timely sourcing.

Reporting and compliance

• Prepare reports on purchasing activity, cost analysis, and supplier performance; maintain accurate transaction and contract records.
• Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

Education and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills; proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency is required; Arabic is preferred.

Experience and knowledge

• Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier management.
