Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support yearly procurement planning and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist with expressions of interest, pre-qualification, commercial bid evaluation, and bidder lists.
• Help end users prepare scopes of work and gather information and documents.
• Coordinate pre-tender meetings and bidder site visits; prepare award recommendations and letters of award.
• Handle bidding correspondence with input from end users as required.
• Interpret contract terms and administer bank guarantees, insurance, invoices, and related records.
• Maintain contract logs and files, including agreed changes to ITT packages.
• Handle variations, claims, amendments, and contract close-out.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 4–6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in pre-award and post-award contract management.
• Good knowledge of procurement regulations and industry standards.

Skills and languages

• High proficiency in English is required; working knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
• The role calls for strategic perspective, negotiation, relationship management, analytical and research ability, and strong interpersonal collaboration.
