Role overview

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant production support, application support, or IT operations experience.
• Advanced understanding of business-critical web applications and application/environment controls.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Angular, APIs, Java, SQL, AWS, Jenkins, and Postman.
• Ability to interpret workflow diagrams and understand workflow-based business processes.
• Strong analytical, planning, communication, presentation, and leadership skills; able to deliver with minimal supervision.
• Mutual fund or insurance experience is an added advantage.

Technical skills

• Listed skills include Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, authentication, OAuth, SSO, and STS.
• Technical environment includes SQL queries, AWS, Dynatrace, Site24x7, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and microservices.
• Mandatory skills include Dynatrace, Java, scope and change management, Spring Boot, and stakeholder management.
• Good-to-have skills include knowledge management, major incident management, MySQL, problem management, quality management, resource management, and risk/crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Support critical web applications and ensure service stability, reliability, and performance.
• Own client-reported production issues, troubleshoot them, and determine root causes.
• Improve service levels, operational efficiency, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing.
• Recommend and execute operational improvements, recurring-issue remediation, monitoring, and automation enhancements.
• Support existing processes and implement changes through structured change control.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and documentation.
• Adhere to SLAs, SLIs, and operational KPIs; support product enhancements and technology upgrades.

Compensation

• The posting lists a compensation range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
