- Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes including idli, dosa, vada, uttapam, pongal, upma, and appam
- Prepare traditional dishes such as avial, Malabar fish curry, chicken chettinad, beetroot coconut fry, and sambar with accompaniments
- Handle batter preparation and ensure proper fermentation for idli and dosa
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Manage timely preparation and service of breakfast meals
- Monitor kitchen stock levels and support inventory and ingredient storage management
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
- Assist in daily menu planning and kitchen preparation activities
- Work efficiently under time pressure, especially during peak service hours
