Kerala Cuisine Chef – Fusion Specialist (Indian, Korean, Chinese & Thai)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Kerala Foods
- Design and develop innovative fusion dishes combining South Indian flavors with Korean, Chinese, and Thai culinary techniques and ingredients.
- Experiment with diverse flavor profiles, spices, textures, and presentation styles to create unique signature dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
- Oversee kitchen operations including inventory management, sourcing ingredients, and cost control.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in both traditional and multi-cuisine fusion cooking techniques.
- Collaborate with management to design and update menus based on food trends and seasonal availability.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a South Indian Chef with strong regional expertise.
- Solid knowledge or hands-on experience in Korean, Chinese, and Thai cuisines.
- Strong creativity with a focus on fusion and contemporary food concepts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,200.00 per month
