Sous Chef
The Sous Chef supports the Chef / Kitchen Lead with daily food preparation, production, service and kitchen hygiene.
This role requires someone reliable, organised and confident working independently during opening or closing shifts when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce food items according to recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines.
- Support the Chef / Kitchen Lead with daily prep lists, stock control and service readiness.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, checking dates, labelling and correct storage.
- Complete cleaning, temperature and food safety records as required.
- Maintain hygiene and organisation across the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Support allergen awareness, traceability and correct handling of ingredients.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures.
- Report stock shortages, equipment faults or quality issues to the Chef / Kitchen Lead or Assistant Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the bar and FOH team to ensure smooth service.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen, café, restaurant or catering environment.
- Experience with prep, service, stock control and food safety procedures required.
- Culinary qualifications preferred but not essential.
- Basic Food Safety training required or must be completed during onboarding.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary from AED 2,250 per month, depending on experience.
- Company employment visa and health insurance provided.
- Annual leave and other benefits as per UAE labour requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Must already be based in the UAE.
- Must be able to commute independently and organise own accommodation.
- Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Start date: September/October 2026

Pay: From AED2,250.00 per month
