Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software enhancements from ticket through production, with mentor review.
- Use agentic coding tools, including Claude Code, to improve work quality and velocity and help the team develop effective usage patterns.
- Participate in code reviews by acting on feedback and providing considered feedback on others' code.
- Learn team tools, languages, and workflows quickly enough to ship work in the first few weeks.
- Join stand-ups, planning, and reviews, and flag risks to owned work early.
- Build an understanding of clients, end users, and the regulated environment.
- Participate in company events, demos, and cross-team work.
What We’re Looking For
- Final-year student or graduate within the last 12 months in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience using agentic coding tools as a core workflow, with judgment to scrutinize their output; Claude Code is the team's standard tool.
- Working proficiency in at least one language such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
- Understanding of version control, testing, and debugging fundamentals.
- A project built outside coursework, such as a side project, hackathon entry, open-source contribution, or previous internship.
- Able to explain a problem-solving approach and how a difficult problem was broken down.
- Clear written communication and ability to explain what was built and why.
- Independence and judgment to ask for help rather than remain stuck.
