Design, develop, and oversee lightweight, secure, high-performance software solutions for complex business problems.
Provide technical leadership, enforce engineering and database practices, and guide delivery of custom systems.
Engineering and delivery
- Architect lean software structures and optimized modular designs; translate business needs into lightweight technical blueprints.
- Enforce secure database-to-client architecture, with all CRUD operations handled through optimized stored procedures rather than heavy ORMs.
- Write secure, optimized native code; lead code reviews and enforce performance and quality standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives; break down and estimate development tasks.
- Implement streamlined continuous-integration and testing pipelines.
- Diagnose architectural bugs, latency, and slow queries, then deliver root-cause fixes.
- Collaborate with BPOs, QA, and engineers and mentor developers in stored procedures, coding, and memory management.
- Apply secure coding and restricted database permissions and comply with data-protection laws and security standards.
- Document architecture, APIs, and database schemas; host database performance and direct-query workshops.
Technical skills
- Deep knowledge of native software engineering, performance-first patterns, and secure direct-to-database architecture.
- Expert SQL Server design, indexing, transaction safety, and high-performance stored procedures for CRUD operations.
- Advanced Python backend programming focused on speed and minimal abstraction.
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, and modern native JavaScript skills, with UI/UX design integration.
- Exposure to lightweight cross-platform or native mobile application development.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven full-stack web development and database-management experience.
- Hands-on web and visual design experience applying user-experience best practices.
- Strong analytical, logical, and mathematical problem-solving skills; communication, mentorship, and leadership capabilities.
- Commitment to current technologies and engineering methods and to modernization without unnecessary framework bloat.
