The Tech and Product team supports US user experience with data security, privacy, compliance, reliability, product support, and efficiency improvement.
The role works on backend infrastructure, high-throughput microservices, and compliance pipelines for Recommendations, Search, and E-Commerce.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade backend microservices and distributed systems.
- Optimize system performance, latency, memory utilization, and resource efficiency.
- Build monitoring, logging, and fault-tolerant mechanisms that support high availability.
- Develop systems that meet strict data security and privacy standards for US users.
Minimum Qualifications
- Be completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Have a solid background in data structures, algorithms, computer systems, and software design.
- Have strong coding skills in at least one modern language: Go, C++, Java, or Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with high-concurrency systems, distributed databases, RPC frameworks, message queues such as Kafka or RocketMQ, or big data systems.
- Prior technical internship experience at top technology companies or competitive programming achievements.

Compensation
- Base salary range in the selected city is $100,320–$177,840 annually.
- The role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

Workplace
