Team and Internship Overview
The AML team develops next-generation AI infrastructure and recommendation platforms for advertising, search, live, and e-commerce ranking.
The internship provides hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply technical knowledge to real-world challenges.
Interns participate in learning programs, development workshops, and professional activities alongside industry teams.
Responsibilities
- Improve workflows for model training and serving, data pipelines, storage systems, and resource management for multi-tenant machine learning systems.
- Design and develop key components of machine learning infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
- Proficient coding skills and a strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience using or designing open-source machine learning lifecycle management systems such as TFX is preferred.
- Ability to think critically and rationally and communicate in a results-oriented, data-driven manner is preferred.
Workplace
- On-site presence is expected across teams, with a fully in-person schedule of up to five days per week.
Compensation
- The hourly rate for the selected city is $42.75.

- Interns who are not working 100% remotely may be eligible for a housing allowance.
