Mid-Level Software Engineer role on a growing technology team.
The team builds a cloud-based SaaS platform that helps industrial companies manage environmental liabilities and long-term financial obligations.
The role is full-stack and focused on hands-on front-end and back-end development.
Required Skills and Experience
- Java, Spring Boot, React, full-stack development, REST APIs, SQL or relational databases, and cloud-based software development are required.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience is desired.
- SaaS or enterprise software experience is desired.
- AWS or other cloud platform, microservices, and Agile or Scrum experience are desired.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are desired.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build and maintain full-stack applications.
- Develop React front-end features and Java/Spring Boot back-end services.
- Build and integrate APIs, work with databases, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in code reviews and testing.
- Improve platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Perform fully hands-on development work.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday schedule.
- Work onsite five days per week in Durham, North Carolina.
Compensation
- Base salary range is $110,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on experience.
