The role works with technical and product leaders and stakeholders to deliver value to clients.

What you'll do

  • Lead teams in AI-forward development to deliver software across DevX/SDLC and core business work.
  • Own delivery commitments, tracking, and outcomes.
  • Manage recruiting, performance, culture, engagement, budget, and costs; coach team leads and senior engineers.
  • Shift team capacity as priorities change and raise resourcing issues to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate release adoption and enablement with Product, Support, Customer Success, and internal partners.
  • Guide technical decisions using code-level knowledge while balancing business, engineering, architecture, standards, governance, and controls.
  • Coordinate prioritization and scheduling with product management and align resource and cost decisions with business needs.
  • Report execution and release adoption through regular measures; use AI tooling and coach teams in its use.
  • Reserve time for engineering-led innovation and carry promising projects through to completion.

What you'll bring

  • Hands-on agentic and AI-assisted software development experience and experience using AI tools to scale leadership work.
  • Track record leading multiple engineering teams working with cloud technologies.
  • End-to-end SaaS product development experience at scale in enterprise environments.
  • Accountability for delivery and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience driving adoption and enablement of tools, platforms, or releases.
  • Ability to lead across DevX/SDLC and product-facing work and shift team capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience developing people and building team culture and engagement.
  • Technical knowledge at code level to validate assumptions and guide decisions.
  • Adaptable approach to development methodologies, business context, and current technologies and practices.

Work arrangement

  • Benevity describes its approach as flexible hybrid.
  • There is no set in-office attendance requirement for people near an office; in-person collaboration is used when it is beneficial.
