Role overview

Build the agentic SOC

• Lead development of systems that monitor, triage, investigate, and respond to alerts with minimal human effort.
• Automate manual alert handling, measure autonomous resolution, and own detection-as-code, testing, and tuning.
• Establish automation guardrails, audit trails, and human escalation paths; contribute to incident response.

Harden systems and products

• Translate threat intelligence into hardening work and detection coverage across cloud, identity, and endpoints.
• Build security functionality and platform controls with product engineering teams.
• Work with the Red Team to find and fix vulnerabilities, verify fixes, and measure detection coverage against attack paths.

Detect product abuse

• Build automated detection and response for account takeover, fraud, scripted misuse, and other product abuse.
• Write and review code in Clio applications and review security changes made by SOC and engineering teams.

Candidate profile and team leadership

• The desired profile is builders curious about security or security specialists who build.
• Lead a small, senior-leaning team that ships, owns results, and makes its work visible.
• Build the team by defining hiring needs, interviewing, and attracting candidates; set team culture and technical direction.
