Deliver scalable software solutions, improve engineering performance, and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Leadership and delivery
- Set software engineering strategy and oversee the full development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to deployment and maintenance.
- Lead software developers, engineering managers, and technical teams; establish engineering standards and quality practices.
- Manage budgets, resources, priorities, schedules, technical risks, and dependencies across projects.
- Partner with product, design, operations, and business teams to define technical requirements.
- Monitor quality, performance, productivity, and delivery metrics; oversee testing, debugging, deployment, and system improvements.
- Assess emerging technologies and ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and organizational requirements.
- Build a collaborative engineering culture and present technology strategies, performance updates, and investment recommendations to executives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
- Extensive software development, engineering management, or technology leadership experience; demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver complex projects.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, development frameworks, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software quality management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, cybersecurity principles, and scalable system infrastructure.
- Strong strategic planning, project management, technical decision-making, leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
