Role overview

Build and maintain high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications in React Native for a digital learning platform.

Support backend services in Node.js and own features end to end across Android and iOS.

Integrate production AI capabilities such as streaming AI tutor responses and offline-first study workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain React Native applications for Android and iOS.
  • Build and support lightweight Node.js backend APIs and integration services.
  • Handle streaming responses, offline caching, and data synchronization for learning and AI tutoring tools.
  • Manage builds, testing tracks, app store lifecycles, and releases.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, resolve crashes, and optimize performance and battery consumption.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers through pull requests, code reviews, and iterative releases.

Key skills and qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of mobile application development experience.
  • Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of Node.js for backend APIs and integrations.
  • Experience with Redux, Zustand, or React Context state management.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JWT or OAuth authentication, and error handling.
  • Familiarity with Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect deployment processes.
