Role overview

Build responsive, high-performance web applications and dynamic interfaces integrated with production AI capabilities.

Translate administrative and academic workflows into clean, reusable, accessible screens.

Ensure reliable handling of streaming responses, data-rich views, and varied device and network conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Build web applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
  • Create screens for managing people, permissions, content, and records.
  • Work from and contribute to a shared design system.
  • Handle slow, streaming, and failed responses while keeping screens usable.
  • Ensure screens work on laptops and phone browsers.
  • Work with the product manager and test screens with users.

Key skills and qualifications

  • 3-5 years building web applications and a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong React and TypeScript skills.
  • Experience with a component library or design system.
  • Experience with forms, tables, file uploads, and permission-based views.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections.
  • Ability to implement resilient state management for asynchronous loading, real-time streaming, and error handling.
  • Use Git, pull requests, and code review as a daily practice.
