Role Overview
Architect, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for high-volume platform traffic and AI-driven workloads.
Standardize environments with infrastructure as code, establish observability and alerting, enforce access security, and optimize performance and cloud spend.
Maintain high platform availability during sudden usage surges.
Responsibilities
- Build pipelines that take merged code to staging and production on release.
- Run development, staging, and production from the same setup files.
- Run AWS services including containers, managed databases, caching, and storage.
- Set up monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerts that reach a responsible person.
- Run backups and test that restoration works.
- Plan capacity for peak periods and keep cloud spend visible and controlled.
- Manage access and secrets, and remove access when someone leaves a project.
Key Skills
- AWS experience, particularly with container services, managed databases, and storage.
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Linux, networking basics, and secret management.
Experience and Education
- 4 to 6 years of DevOps or infrastructure experience.
- Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
