The role partners with the METAL Unit and supports tools and systems used by program teams for data collection and use in the field.
The role works with CommCare, Microsoft Power BI, and a Microsoft SQL Server Azure-based data warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CommCare Data Toolkits and Power BI dashboards linked to live CommCare data.
- Assess software requirements, estimate development tasks, and validate requirements against system design and configuration.
- Maintain data definitions, metadata, documentation, versioning, quality processes, and development standards.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, issue routing, technical assistance, training, and rollout support.
- Follow organizational data protection, confidentiality, and security policies.
Required experience
- Three to six years of experience developing and rolling out data or technology platforms for programs.

Team relationships
Reports to a Business Systems Analyst; the role has no direct reports.
Works with the CommCare Product Manager, METAL QA Analyst, IT Data Team, and regional technology teams.
