Volunteer & Donations Coordinator

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required. Preferably with an emphasis in communication, non-profit management, human resources, international development or and relevant field of study.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in community engagement.
• Demonstrated experience in fundraising, sponsorship solicitation, or donor cultivation, with the ability to meet assigned fundraising goals, including this role's annual targets of ~$200,000 in new revenue and ~$125,000 in Match support.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new computer applications rapidly.
• Deep understanding of program management and human resource management principles and experience managing diverse teams.
• Proven ability to contribute both independently and as a key team member.
• Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Flexible and able to handle pressure well.
• Experience developing and providing orientations and trainings.
• Strong organizational skills in a complex, multi-tasking environment and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with current and prospective donors and volunteers, partner agencies, multi-cultural clients and colleagues on all levels.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Working Environment
• Standard office environment, some evening and weekend hours will be required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with legally required insurance as position may require using own transportation within the service delivery area. Mileage reimbursement is available.
• Compensation: ($75,369 to $78,866 annually). Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements
