Soft Services Supervisor

Role purpose

Service delivery and contractors

• Ensure essential site services meet requirements and monitor subcontractor staffing and service delivery against contractual commitments and SLAs.
• Conduct scheduled self-audits and joint audits, address identified shortfalls, and ensure subcontractor compliance with codes, policies, and procedures.
• Support service aligned with international best practice and UAE environmental regulations.

Safety, records, and team support

• Maintain timely records; ensure staff complete scheduled tasks and escalate ongoing concerns to the Soft Services Manager.
• Conduct health and safety inspections, take corrective action, and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safe work instructions as needed; ensure staff have appropriate resources and equipment.
• Communicate with clients when covering for the line manager and provide flexible cover for the Soft Services Manager.

Experience and education

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role and 5 years in soft services within facilities management.
• High School Diploma required; BICSc or equivalent preferred.

Skills and working arrangements

• Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and clear spoken and written English.
• Strong customer service, communication, leadership, organization, teamwork, issue-resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning processes and monitoring, attention to detail, and an improvement mindset.
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, independently and with a team; flexible for shifts 5 days out of 7 in a continuous 24/7 service.
