Role overview

E-learning development

• Design and maintain e-learning modules, digital assets, assessments, and multimedia content.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning methodologies; convert classroom materials into interactive digital formats.
• Develop graphics, videos, simulations, quizzes, and other digital resources.

LMS and learner support

• Administer the LMS, including courses, enrolments, reports, permissions, and system maintenance.
• Monitor functionality, troubleshoot user issues, coordinate enhancements, and keep learner data and course structures accurate.
• Provide guidance to learners and stakeholders and act as a contact for LMS and e-learning enquiries.

Governance and training support

• Maintain version control and review content for accuracy, relevance, quality, and operational, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records and evidence for audits; support training delivery, evaluation, and improvement.
• Protect learner data and digital content and support audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

Education and experience

• A degree or diploma in any discipline is described as ideal; a bachelor's degree in education or training is preferred.
• Recognised professional membership, assessor and verifier awards, adult education qualifications, and a management qualification are listed as desired qualifications.
• Three years in a railway or metro environment and two years in a training environment are described as ideal.
• Working knowledge of railway operations, engineering, maintenance, and related activities; understanding of associated safety issues.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal English communication; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Experience with LMS platforms, Microsoft Office, and e-learning content creation software.
• Skills in learner assessment, feedback, training needs analysis, programme evaluation, and training administration.
