Soft Services Specialist (Facilities)
Role Overview
The Soft Services function ensures all non-technical services across city facilities and public spaces are delivered to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer experience.
The role oversees cleaning, waste management, landscaping, pest control, and community support services, ensuring compliance with city regulations and service-level agreements.
It also manages contractors, supervises staff, conducts inspections, and supports operational readiness for daily activities and events.

The Soft Services function ensures all non-technical services across city facilities and public spaces are delivered to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer experience.
The role oversees cleaning, waste management, landscaping, pest control, and community support services, ensuring compliance with city regulations and service-level agreements.
It also manages contractors, supervises staff, conducts inspections, and supports operational readiness for daily activities and events.
Key Focus Areas
- Cleanliness and hygiene of public areas, amenities, and operational buildings
- Waste collection, recycling, and disposal compliance
- Landscaping, grounds maintenance, and irrigation
- Pest control programs and environmental health standards
- Community and customer-facing support services
- Contractor management, KPI/SLA monitoring, and performance reporting
- Health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Staff supervision, scheduling, and resource planning
- Inventory control and continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Profile
- Experienced in soft services or facilities management, with strong knowledge of cleaning operations, waste processes, landscaping, and vendor management.
- Skilled in supervision, inspections, reporting, and maintaining service quality across large-scale city operations.
Pay
- Up to ﷼20,000.00 per month
