The Social Media Editor is a Doha-based role on a six-month fixed-term contract, turning great footage into thumb-stopping content across a slate of exciting projects, with an immediate start.
You’ll live in the edit – cutting Reels, TikToks and Shorts, turning full episodes into sharp social cut-downs, building templates and carousels, and making everything land in both Arabic and English.
If you obsess over pacing, captions and the first three seconds, you’ll feel right at home.
This is a fast, creative, hands-on role for an editor who knows what makes people stop scrolling and can turn work around at pace without dropping quality.
Editing & Craft
- Cut Reels, TikToks and Shorts that stop the scroll and drive engagement.
- Turn full episodes and long-form footage into sharp, platform-ready social cut-downs.
- Obsess over pacing, captions and the crucial first three seconds of every edit.
Design & Templates
- Build templates, carousels and statics that keep a clean, consistent visual system.
- Apply a strong design sensibility across all assets.
- Maintain brand consistency across formats and platforms.
Bilingual Delivery
- Create and adapt content for both Arabic and English audiences.
- Handle bilingual captions and subtitles with confidence and accuracy.
- Ensure every edit lands naturally in both languages.
Workflow & Delivery
- Turn work around quickly and reliably without compromising quality.
- Manage and organise footage and assets so they’re easy to find and reuse.
- Collaborate with the social and creative teams to deliver against the content plan.
