Schedule

Responsibilities

  • Scan for vulnerabilities, review findings, and remediate or escalate risks.
  • Perform approved infrastructure changes, patching, and scheduled maintenance; manage backup operations.

  • Maintain and improve internal SOC and ITOC tools and applications; provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow analysts.

What you bring

  • At least 4 years in a SOC, NOC, or similar IT operations environment supporting on-premise and cloud-connected technologies.
  • Experience with SIEM, security monitoring, vulnerability management, ITSM platforms, and ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and service-request processes.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
  • Experience provisioning client services, performing customer onboarding, and working with first-level server technologies such as remote access and patching.
  • Able to troubleshoot technical and procedural issues across security, infrastructure, and network domains.
  • Able to work onsite in Northeast Calgary and cover the stated rotating shift and weekend schedule.

Additional assets

  • Security+ and/or ISC2 certification, CCNA or CCNP, ITILv4, and previous 24x7 operations center experience are listed as additional assets.
  • The posting mentions a base salary range plus variable incentives but does not provide amounts or a pay cadence.
